Summary
Vi has always been confused as to why she is drawn to Caitlyn, because none of her friends are like her. They have totally different backgrounds and interests and very few friends in common. Nevertheless, she finds it hard to not want to be around her all the time, and as a result they have become inseparable.
Caitlyn, on the other hand, knows exactly why she is drawn to Vi. It's because of her huge crush that she has been trying to keep under wraps for the last six months, for the pure fear of losing her. Every bone in her body tells her to go for it, to make the move, but her brain still holds every single doubt and fear that Vi may not feel the same way about her.

This is one of my two fics for several of the #arcanekinktober prompts.
Vi’s been living on the edge lately, reckless as hell and not giving a single fuck. But after a raid at an underground pit lands her in Stillwater for illegal fighting and public disorder, she comes face to face with Piltover’s new commander. Caitlyn shows up at her cell pissed as hell, grudge still burning after everything that went down between them. And yet, where there was fire, the ashes are still smoldering—and Vi’s never been afraid of playing with fire. Caitlyn isn’t backing down either, and she knows exactly how to use her power to break Vi down. The thing is, Vi wouldn’t have it any other way.

Caitlyn's breath was warm against her ear as she leaned in, lips brushing over Vi's skin. "You still want me. You never stopped."
"I didn't say that."
“You don’t need to,” Caitlyn murmured, the words leaving her lips like a quiet fact rather than comfort. Her thumb passed slowly over the bruises along Vi’s throat, feeling the uneven warmth beneath the skin before her touch drifted lower, following the pale line of her collarbone in a steady, unbroken motion. “You can’t even deny it.”
