Summary
New Year’s Eve, 2006.
Nine young adults converge at a small English train station, killing time before a party that hasn’t even started yet. They’re restless, underdressed for the cold, and half-annoyed at having to bring their own drinks. Nothing about the night feels important just another ordinary stop on the way to somewhere else.On impulse, they decide to cut through a Tesco Extra to stock up.
Inside the store, nothing dramatic happens. No alarms. No explosions. Just small, forgettable things: wet floors without warning signs, unstable stacks of crates, malfunctioning freezers, tired staff rushing to keep up with the crowd. The kind of environment everyone walks through without thinking twice.
Except one of them does think twice.
A sudden, overwhelming premonition shows how those tiny, ignored hazards can align into something catastrophic. The group escapes before anything happens shaken, confused, arguing over whether anything was ever really wrong at all.
But Death doesn’t miss appointments.
And once something is set in motion, it doesn’t stop just because you leave the building.
