“Specialist?” Ilya asked, his tone wary. The word sounded uncomfortable in his mouth, so Shane tried to fill in the gaps.
“A doctor. For omegas.”
That threw Rozanov off for a second. “But you are not omega?”
Shane squished up his face, creasing the skin on his forehead and around his eyes. Taking a deep breath, he dropped the first of his two bombs. “No, Rozanov. I am. I’m an omega.”
He heard the Russian hum on the other side, considering this. “Makes sense. Is why you are so pretty. And why you have such nice ass.”
Shane’s ears burned. “Shut up, stop talking about my ass.”
“But I can still talk about how pretty you are, yes?”
