Bilbo turns his gaze on Thorin once again. He must have noticed the movement because he turns his head to look at Bilbo and his stern face breaks into a gentle smile. Bilbo is helpless in the face of it and smiles back; he thinks he couldn’t have stopped himself if he’d tried. Thorin’s face brightens even more and when a dwarf next to him speaks to him, he seems reluctant to look away, but he does, leaving Bilbo to stare after him in stunned realization.
“Oh,” he says, breathlessly. “Oh, wow.”

Yeah, so they’re pretty much all I can think about and I’m not even mad about it.
I had a desperate, burning need to watch these Soft™ boys gently cup each other’s faces to the dulcet, melancholic sounds of Phoebe Bridgers’ “Steamroller”…so that is what happened.
It’s basically my masterpiece. I can’t beat this, y'all, it’s all downhill from here.

It's basically a love letter to Finn, Rey, and Poe, ngl. Now I need to make another one for The Last Jedi, clearly.
