"There's no point in dwelling on things I can't change! I should probably try to forget them." Alex chuckled, but Skeppy can hear the pain hidden in his chuckle.
"You can't just... do that, can you?" Skeppy questioned.
Alex laughed, "No. It's not that fucking easy, dude." He paused, looking down at the empty glass in his hands.
"But I have to." He whispered, losing his smile.
"What happens when you realise, one day, that they don't feel the same way and you end up alone? You're bound to spend the rest of your life alone, not being able to wake up next to the person you loved." Alex continued.
