Summary
Thranduil gets shot with a poisoned arrow. His commander blames himself, his son too. Can our elven king pull his friends and son out of their misplaced blame?
Still really bad at summaries. Here is an excerpt.
Feren sat on the other side of the bed, his eyes red from tears, he hadn't slept in days, and as he kept a tight grip on Thranduil's hand, He wondered how he could fix this. He couldn't, he knew he could do nothing but wait and worry. He had been doing the latter for days now, but the former was not his strong suit. Though not the first time the elven commander had needed to wait and worry, and it was not the last either, that part never got easier. The dark-haired elf thought about the bloody battle, and how he should have been closer to his king, his friend, his friend who may never wake up. If he didn't it would be all his fault.
Oh, and there is a Harry Potter reference comment when you find it. :)
