But when Shiros best friend from childhood, Keith Kogane shows back up in his life everything is turned upside down. Will Shiro be able to keep his head above water? Or will his life end before he can get answers?
In the summer of 2026 Keith Kogane is helping the Fangs of Marmora prepare for war. But when his best friend Shiro gets caught in the crossfire, he'll have to grapple with his responsibility to his new family and his responsibility to the family he already has committed to. As the stress mounts Keith will find himself trying to figure out his personal feelings as the world burns around him.

Summary
