Summary
The instruction to relax has the opposite effect. Panic hits him like a bus, shortening his breath, shrinking his pupils, “I should be out there with them.” He says.
They’re leaving you behind.
“I should be- I should be doing this exercise too. I’m fine, I’m capable, I don’t know what Aizawa-sensei means when he says I’m not fit-”
“He says it because it’s true.” Recovery Girl interrupts, levelling Izuku with a serious frown as she scolds him. “You can’t rush this recovery like you have your others.”
Izuku wants everything to go back to normal, but sometimes going back... isn't possible anymore.

Summary
It is a well-known fact that Damian Wayne refuses pain medication when injured.
The others roll their eyes and chalk it up to a combination of stubbornness, pride, and overly-harsh League training methods, and while Damian will battle any who’d dare insult his upbringing, he does nothing to dissuade these beliefs. It is pride, in a sense, that prevents him from accepting anything to dull the aches and throbs, and pride is a reason far more palatable than the alternative:
Ineptitude.
See, the real reason that Damian always refuses painkillers is that he cannot swallow a pill.
