Calm washes over Mira. She finally finds her voice.
“Once again you are asking the wrong question.”
“Is that so?” Celine smirks. “Then what question should I be asking?” She sounds infuriatingly condescending but for the first time Mira can see through this mask that she is wearing like armor. Our faults and fears must never be seen, right? She wonders who told Celine that. Wonders when she started to believe it. When her sister died?
