Summary
Emile rushed backstage, he was running out of time. Taking the stairs two at a time, Emile bolted towards the chandelier fascinance. On stage Christine and Erik were singing their hearts out, it was a truly beautiful performance. How unfortunate that no one would remember tonight for the show but for the tragedy about to unfold. Emile pulled the knife from his pocket, readying himself for what must come next. Christine's angelic voice paused mid-note. Emile looked towards the stage. Erik had also stopped singing. Christine Daaé is practically a sister to Emile. Erik, the man he loved and the man Emile was giving his life for. Both stared at him in horror, as he stood just in view of the stage, knife in hand. Erik’s command for him to stop, mixed with Christine's desperate scream. Emile sliced through the fastenings to the chandelier.

Summary
Gillette Grindelwald killed Harry Potter's parents, he tried and failed to kill Harry. The Boy Who Lived has entered Hogwarts and he isn't having a good time. On his first day he's already been kicked out of class, luckily for him there is a very beautiful perfect (prefect) in the library willing to help Harry.

“No post on Sundays” Uncle Vernon announced happily, “No damn letters today-”
Something came whizzing down the kitchen chimney as he spoke and caught him sharply on the back of the head. The next moment, thirty or forty letters came pelting out of the fireplace like bullets.
“That does it!” he snapped, his beady little eyes focused solely on Harry, “It’s you that they want. And they won’t stop coming after us until you’re… gone”.
Harry didn't like the sound of that.
“But Vernon, we can’t! You heard what that- that despicable old man told us!”
“Don’t worry, pet” Vernon said, his nasty grin triumphant, “I’ll leave him someplace so far away that those freaks will never trace him back to us. There’s an institute up north, for these- these hopeless cases and whatnot - St Brutus's Secure Centre for Boys. I’ll leave him there, and then we can get back to our nice, normal life”.Or, the one where Harry doesn't attend Hogwarts in first year but finds his way to the wizarding world anyway, and this changes everything.

Summary
The Mers and their murderous cousins, the Siren, have always been at odds but recently something, or someone, has begun to rally the normally solitary predators under a single banner and the climate of relative peace on the reef where Harry was born and raised has descended into the tense anticipation of war. But juveniles will be juveniles regardless of what battles might be brewing, and unfortunately for Harry-at least according to Luna-there’s a Siren in his future.
