Summary
That summer, it felt like the heat never seemed to end. The sun seemed to shine its brightest around here even if California tried to claim otherwise.
The western state wasn't like other states and never in the good way, Texas figured. He was always in his own bubble, never really engaging with the other states (only when they didn't have the occasional meetings) but somehow always managing to mess things up. The golden state was like a disease, his bizarre ideas managing to spread across the other states. Poisoning. Truly, it was amazing how someone else's decisions could affect your life so much. Texas felt sick just thinking about it.
"He'll be here soon." America commented, breaking Texas's train of thought. His leader had really come all the way down to his territory just to carry out his little plan. And to think all this was happening over some stupid argument.
Or
An excuse to have forced proximity between Texas and California.

Summary
It was easier to treat Jon like a monster when he wasn’t shivering against his back, brokenly humming—wait, was that…
“Are you trying to do ‘Hey, Jude’?” Tim demanded.
Jon stopped, stiffening. “Mm hrmh mm mmh hm,” he said defensively.
“You really can’t hold a tune, can you, boss?”
*
It was just an ordinary walk to a restaurant. Tim had insisted that if they were going to talk, there would be no tape recorders or weird Archives ghosts listening in. A bit of fresh air wouldn’t kill him, Tim had said. What could go wrong?
By the time Jon spots the white delivery van, it’s much too late.
The Stranger kidnaps Jon. Tim comes along for the ride.

Summary
Tim worries.
Jon is clearly afraid that Tim might not come back from this, but meanwhile, there are far too many scenarios in Tim's mind where Jon is the one who doesn't make it out.
He's determined not to let that happen. He spent every day for over a month forced to watch what Nikola did to Jon, unable to stop her, unable to help. He's not going to let that happen again.
Tim is here to take down the Circus. But he'll be damned if he lets them take Jon down with them.
After escaping from their ordeal with the Circus, things between Tim and Jon are...better. A lot better.
But Nikola is still out there, and the Unknowing is still going to happen, unless they manage to stop it. And both Tim and Jon are desperate to make sure that the other makes it out alive.
(A continuation/extrapolation of "The Kindness of Strangers")
Update: Now with a small bonus scene of the aftermath of the Unknowing, with a bit of jonmartin.

Summary
Peter doesn't want to go on a field trip to Stark Tower. It's a recipe for disaster. His class doesn't believe him, his teacher doesn't believe him. If he makes it through the entire day without being suspended, it'll be a miracle. Unfortunately for Peter, he's never much believed in miracles.
...
“This is a goddamn disaster.” Peter declared miserably. At least he hadn’t thrown up his food.
“Could be worse.” MJ said across from him. Peter lifted up his head.
“Oh yeah, how?”
MJ shrugged. “They could have expelled you instead.”
Peter gaped at her. “Thanks MJ, that’s really helpful. I feel so much better now.”

Summary
“You’ve got war in your heart boy,” Howard sneers, “don’t ever try and pretend to be anything but what you are.”
Tony feels the familiar burn of a flower mark being etched into his skin but he doesn’t look, doesn’t try and check to see what it is. Instead he keeps his eyes on Howard and his hands cupped around his bleeding mouth and nose.
