Summary
Within the aftereffects of Scaramouche donning his new look and the moniker of "The Wanderer," along with the Dendro Archon taking him in, the Traveler (Lumine) is a whirlwind of emotions. While she resents a portion of his past self, she is also intrigued by all versions of him. He is a constant thorn in her side, berating and ridiculing her genuine kindness and vivacity. Recently, Lumine takes notice that the harshness of the Wanderer's malice is now feigned and red blush permanently adorns his cheeks in her presence.
When the Wanderer decides to join Lumine on an outing (post-Aranara quest) — without the talkative fairy — he bears witness to the hidden nature of the mysterious Traveler. A well of feelings for both are broached, as they each try to push the boundaries with one another verbally and physically to unravel what is stowed behind their personal fortresses. How will she break his barriers? How will he react when she reveals her shackled essence?
