Summary
The tranquillity of the Kocho estate is won from its inhabitants' victories, built upon each life it saves, only to slip away with the whispers on the wings of a butterfly.
Kanae doesn't die when she is meant to and goes on to shroud her life in mystery, taking on a demon and a demon slayer hopeful without anyone's knowledge. Shinobu is now left to uncover these secrets left in Kanae's legacy and perhaps reconnect with a sister she seems to have all but lost.
NOTE: This story is situated in the same alternate universe as the previous work, "Butterfly Effect." However, it's not obligatory to read the previous installment, as all relevant information from it will be disclosed gradually in this narrative.

Summary
What if it was Kanae Kocho, Shinobu’s elder sister and not Gyiuu Tomioka that saved Tanjiro and Nezuko? Can you imagine how their lives would be different if they went down a different path; met new people, formed different relationships, and learned different things? Would it all still turn out in the end? It's impossible to say for certain, but their story would likely have taken a very different direction. Kanae's influence would have been different from Gyiuu's, and the consequences of that will ripple through the story in unpredictable ways.
