Summary
Ardeth should have known that investigating an ancient Greek temple hidden in the Egyptian sands with the O'Connells could only go wrong. At least he gets to know he died for a worthy cause.
He also really should have expected that the O'Connells wouldn't be willing to leave him dead, but sometimes it's hard for Ardeth to believe that they cherish him even a fraction of how much he cherishes them.
