“It’s Buck.” She says and his hands starting shaking so fast it’s a miracle he doesn’t drop his phone. Vanessa looks up at him in question.
“What happened ? Where is he ? Where are you ?” He interrogates her, his heart stops beating for a second as he imagines Buck dead again, the flashes of his unmoving body hanging off the line worming their way into his mind. He gets up from his chair and starts getting his wallet out to pay.
