He doesn't know why or when, but she is the only one who interests him, and they take her away. They break him.
Or in another universe, Lady Elia Stark of Winterfell escapes from home and gets to Essos, where she births the promised prince and does her best to lead Westeros into a new age.
Here he is, fate playing cruel games with him. He's been sent back into the past, into Essos. For what purpose, he isn't told, but he knows. He must make the best of the new opportunity fate has granted him, especially now that he knows something.

However instead of him dying he's reborn in the time of the dance to save the dragons and preserve the Targaryens magic to keep the family sane and strong.

Paul ends up raising Harry with all the madness that comes with it. When he meets Sally Jackson he hopes she'll be an island of sanity. He doesn't complain too much when she isn't. -

Lighthearted with moodiness (because I can't not include angst in my fics). I've had the idea turning around in my head for awhile and decided I might as well start writing it. I mean really -- what chaos could a tiny Master of Death cause in a world where he doesn't belong?
