Summary
On her twenty-fifth birthday in 2004, Hermione Granger vanished during a Time Division experiment at the Department of Mysteries. She and her research partner, Theodore Nott, had been working on a time artefact believed to extend the Time-Turner's capabilities. After two years without a trace, she was declared dead.
Almost twenty years later, in August 2024, Hermione is discovered off Brighton Beach—wearing the same clothes she disappeared in, looking exactly as she did at twenty-five, and with no memory of her past.
Struggling to adapt to a world she no longer recognises, Hermione is adopted by Theodore Nott and Harry Potter, both Ministry officials who are determined to give her a second chance at life.
Too busy to care for her, they leave her in the hands of their mutual friend: Draco Malfoy—who now finds himself responsible for the woman he once loved, even if she no longer remembers him. Draco is now in his forties, while Hermione remains in her twenties. He would have to restrain himself for her protection.
