    Summary

In the aftermath of the Final Extermination, Lucifer attempts to settle into the Hazbin Hotel and his place in Charlie's life, helping her as much as he possibly can, while simultaneously managing what he hopes to be the tail end of his most recent decade long depressive episode.

He should probably be a bit more worried that the Radio Demon manages to bear witness to just about every single one of his panic attacks. At least Alastor doesn't seem to glean any entertainment from kicking him while he is already down. Which really, if you think about it, is surprisingly considerate of him...

And on top of all of that stuff just. Keeps. Happening.

    Bookmarker's Notes

This is the fastest I have ever read a fic from this fandom and considered it my favorite. The way it's written, the flow, the descriptions, worldbuilding, is absolutely gorgeous and chains down the attention to a point it's very difficult (if not impossible) to deviate for too long. Its so captivating!

My favorite characters are "Celebration", where it shows such a layer of complexity to character (Lucifer's especially) is added, the little details about Alastor Rosie notices that tells much about their friendship, the banquet... The dancing then? Marvelous! The other favorite chapter is "Dancing". The interactions! The tension! the dance styles!!! everything was so beautifully done!

The chapters, too, are big, but not to the point its overwhelming to read. They can almost seem to small when the immersion hits (and oh boy, it hits HARD). Everything feels so natural, the slow burn even more to the point it only hit me how things are escalating between them when I went to reread it because I can't handle it only took me a day to read all of 22 chapters. It happens so seamlessly... Congratulations are in order.

This is my favorite, not doubt.
