Summary
Playing with time is never without its risks, and eventually, the universe will balance the books. Usually, all that is needed to prevent paradox is a small change here or there, memory and place altered so subtly only a rare few notice. Sometimes, however, more drastic measures take effect.
Jane Chatwin's forty timeloops centering around the same events pushed time itself to the breaking point, and Quentin using Mayakovsky's timeshare spell was simply too much. Instead of absorbing the changes, Timeline 40 splintered into 40 and 41 (and then splintered further, but that, dear readers, is another story to be found here.)
This is the story of Timeline 41, where bits and pieces of information from Timeline 40 will help change things for everyone.

“I merely came down to clear my mind. Fighting you is no longer the struggle it used to be,” she scoffs. After many encounters with Chronos, she no longer feared fighting him at all.
