A follow on to my main fic, Hunter or Prey, written following a request and a challenge from a very dear friend. :)
Written around the events of The Book of Boba Fett, Mando and Vance finally get him back to his Covert, but can their relationship survive it?
Having come together in very different circumstances, where their differences could be easily overcome, Vance is now forced to confront the reality of being with a Mandalorian from a sect that is not welcoming to outsiders.
How can someone whose only faith is in freedom, survive the restrictive environment of the Covert?
NOTE: After I was mostly finished writing this, it was confirmed that there was a much greater spell of time between S2 and BOBF. Its too late to retcon, so I'm afraid you'll have to wink at that, and for the sake of this fic time will have to be a wibbly wobbly, timey-wimey sort of thing.
