“Excuse me?” Tyrion said, half laughing and half crying at the very idea of it.
“Yes. Exactly that.” Jaime agreed. “But she said it would be a good match for me. She said nothing to Brienne, though.”
“I… need to sit down.” Tyrion suggested as he looked around the room. “I… Well. At least… At least any children you had with her would be… incredibly tall. And strong. Fuck. We would have to install all new doors for how tall they would be. All the tableware is gold, so it’s not like it could be easily broken by… overly strong children. Honestly, I… I mean. It wouldn’t be the worst match. You would just have to fuck her in the dark.”
“Careful. That could be your future goodsister you are speaking of,” Jaime teased him.
“Have you ever seen her?” Tyrion asked.
“No, only heard of her… rather unflattering appearance,” Jaime said. “Have you met her?”
“No. I, too, have only heard of her and her… unfortunate fate.” Tyrion said. “Did Lady Sansa suggest such a woman because it would be so difficult for you to endure? As a sort of punishment?”
“No.” Jaime blushed and looked away, obviously lying about something.
Tyrion looked at his brother, his brother who had been a kingsguard his entire adult life. An adult life where he was sworn to celibacy, but that did not mean he had to practice it. And yet… Jaime had never spoken of any woman aside from their sister. There were no little Lannister bastards running around. Which left Tyrion to wonder… did Jaime prefer his own kind? He had said, ‘ things I’ve felt , that I’ve told no one about. ’ Lady Brienne was said to be very… masculine.
Wine was not going to be enough. He needed something stronger.
