Summary
It starts with a snide, commiserating look from Darius tossed Raine’s way at one of the Emperor’s overly-flamboyant speeches. A grumble of agitation from Eber. It escalates to some choice words whispered between sips of Grade-A Apple Blood about Belos. Then theories. Plots.
And that’s where things start to take a downturn. Plotting. Three against a whole brainwashed world, no matter how powerful the three may be, is nigh impossible. Plot as they may, their plans fail to come to fruition.
Until a mysterious something (or someone) shows up.
AKA five times the Golden Guard secretly helps the rebellion and one time they help him.

**Very random and in media res portion of my other story that I had in mind for a while. Summary doesn't match what I have written here but hopefully provides more context. In other words, I'm terrible at writing according to plan. Would appreciate any feedback on this.**
Hisui has undergone countless changes in the years since Ingo first landed into the harsh landscape of her highest mountain range. While his amiable nature and astounding talent for taming Pokémon allowed him to lead a peaceful life in the region, he still wonders about the world he left behind. Hazy memories, violet wisps, familiar faces in reflections, and a lover who knows of an ancient secret to peering through time may just help him find his most desired answers- at the cost of a broken heart.
The Diamond clan has expanded extensively across the lands of southern Hisui. With stacks of duties that could fill an entire tent, Adaman has spent more time inadvertently counting stars during missions than catching sleep. Determined to uphold the Diamond clan's image and values in the face of rapid development, there is nothing that would stop him from spearheading its rapid growth. Except, perhaps, one who has defied time itself.
