Summary
Soap didn't die in the tunnel that day. Eight years since he last saw Soap, Ghost's life is in ruins. All he has is a piece of paper with an address on it. He knows where he's going, he just isn't sure of the welcome when he gets there.
A fix it fic for the ending of MWIII (2023) but I hurt Ghost some more to do it. Sorry, buddy, but it was worth it. A tale of healing, growth, acceptance and love.

It's the end of Hassan's reign of terror, and the 141 can finally let out a sigh of relief as Johnny, who had unfortunately almost been dangled off of a 50-something story building in Chicago, is on solid ground again, and safe. Price treats them all to some drinks, and it is here that Ghost not only finds himself relaxed around the Scot - overly glad, maybe? that his soldier is safe - but something else he can't quite put his finger on. However, all of it comes to light when Soap returns from the bar with something for the Brit, and Ghost finds himself in deep shit.
