With the discovery of Eleven's abilities to open portals and see into the strange realm where she had sent One, Brenner currently is not in need of Seven's abilities. So he sends Seven to stay with a couple who work at the lab. Out of sight--but not out of reach.
Meanwhile, Seven--No, Steven now. He is discovering so much about the world with his new best friend named Eddie. But pretty soon things start to go wrong for him when Eddie starts to question Steve's problematic family life.
