Nico managed a slow nod, letting out a lazy hum that was almost like a moan. His eyes were half-lidded, spit-slicked lips slightly parted. “Just wanna feel good,” he murmured. “Just for one night…’s the best I’ve felt in…a while…”
Leo’s heart broke within the confines of his chest, giving him a disturbing clarity for a moment. God, that fucking church…they were taking the life out of him. He was so preoccupied by living how they wanted him to live, he was forgetting to live at all.
