Summary
au: The Jedi Temple requires access to resources on Mandalore. As per Mandalorian custom a familial tie must be established to justify the request. The solution presented is simple: wed an accomplished Jedi to a member of Mandalorian aristocracy. Knight Ahsoka Tano is selected for the honour and finds herself presented to the Mand'alor.
Her padawan, Luke, is brought along for the journey.

Summary
It's several months after season 2, and politics are shifting rapidly in the New Republic.
“One of the delegation’s sticking points in the treaty has been a desire to share risk between the New Republic and Mandalore. They don’t want to sign without an assurance. Apparently it’s traditional to do this... somewhat literally. I don’t get the sense that it’s universally desired, but,” she shrugs a little, “we’re all floundering here. Rebuilding a republic out of a dictatorship isn’t easy.”
“I’m not getting the problem here, Leia. So they want it all in writing?”
She lays it out for him, and Luke can’t say he didn’t ask for it. “They want someone from the New Republic to become the new Mand’alor’s consort. Essentially, they want a hostage.”Luke wants the New Republic to back and fund his plans for the new Jedi Order, Bo-Katan wants Mandalore to rise to its previous glory, Leia wants a system of governance that is functional, and Din wants a nap.

Summary
Tonight, Majima’s working on the last basket of takoyaki when he glances up to see his cigarette dangling from Kiryu’s mouth. Kiryu doesn’t acknowledge that he took it, just tilts his head and flicks on a thick gold lighter. The flame is high, light kissing the hollows of his chest in the vee of his open collar; when it flicks out, he drops the lighter back on the table and inhales. Majima stabs a toothpick through crust.
