"Angel," Charlie said, voice halfway to a snarl already. Everyone's attention snapped to her, and then, horrifyingly, straight to Angel. "Is that your bedroom?"
"It's my dressing room," he corrected, fiddling with the remote. "But yeah. It's live feed, 24/7."

Summary
There was an insistent, impatient, and uncomfortable tapping against the bar, the culprit of which had his eyes narrowed on the large grandfather clock positioned on the other side of the room. It was late, much too late for Husk to be tending bar, but Angel was the only one he had much consideration for tending to a majority of the time and he wasn't back from work yet. The arms of the clock had been gradually approaching 5 AM, and each minute passed had his stomach sinking deeper and deeper. Angel only rarely had nights this late.

Summary
"No distractions."
It was a phrase Angel had heard a million times in a million different ways. Even as it was screamed in his face so intensely he could feel his coach's breath, Angel couldn't disagree on the logic behind it. Professional figure skating required just as much sacrifice in Hell as it did on Earth, even if it resulted in continual loneliness.
The Pride ring's ice hockey team didn't seem to be bound by the same expectations, though. Maybe the scoreboard suffered for it, but morale didn't seem too bad. Even if the team's hot center player sometimes had a grumpy streak.
No distractions. But, Angel could make friends, right?

Or, the AU where professional sports exist in Hell, Angel is an up-and-coming figure skater determined to make a name for himself, and Husk is a core member of an ice hockey team on a consistent losing streak.
