Summary
Kiryu flees to the countryside and lives a quiet life in a quiet village, wanting to start over as a nobody with no past. He buys a little run down farm, decides to fix it up with the help of some locals and plans on becoming a farmer. All the while, Haruka is still in a coma with no signs of waking.
Majima is kidnapped by the Omi and manages to escape, now on the run. He stashes himself away in the back of a truck and finds himself stranded in a small and sleepy village. He stumbles upon a farm.

What if the story you knew went a little...differently?
Kiryu, Captain of the Tojo Clan and the partriarch to his own family, is curious about a up and coming spitfire in the Shimano Family that mysteriously goes missing after a hit gone wrong. Going well out of his way for this Mad Dog, he finds himself running around Sotenbori and Kamurocho, trying to find out the truth behind the hit, why Majima Goro was imprisoned, and why they won't loosen the collar around his neck despite him paying his debts.

“Are ya sure the name Kazuma Kiryu doesn’t ring any bells?” Saejima asks as they get in a taxi bound for Kamurocho.
“For the last time, bro, no. That name doesn’t mean shit to me.” Majima is so sick of his kyodai asking about that fucking guy. If he was so important, Saejima could just tell him what he’s supposed to remember.

"C'mon, Kiryu-chan, you gotta remember," Majima started to say, looking at Kiryu intently as he leaned forward.
Kiryu smiled. He liked having him around.
"You are Kiryu Kazuma," Majima began. "The Dragon of Dojima, does that rings a bell?
"Hmm?"
"We were in the same clan. We were... coworkers, so to speak," Majima explained.
Kiryu pursed his lips and shook his head. "I'm sorry."
Majima wrinkled his nose as if his words had hurt him. "You really don't remember me? Not even a little bit?" he whined.
