    Sometimes Baku wonders if the universe has a personal vendetta against him. If in his past life, he committed some grave sin that needed to be punished even until now or maybe, it was just poor luck on his part. He isn't quite sure, but he knew that he had to start doing something about it.

    Baekjin didn't really ask for any of this and though he was extremely grateful, it felt like he didn't have a say where or how his life was going to go. So maybe making a few reckless decisions were in order, he never rebelled as a child anyway. It was a long time coming.

    (because relationships of convenience always turned out well, right?)
