Summary
Ilya Rozanov and Sam Hollander are hockey rivals. Ilya plays for Boston College, while Sam Hollander plays for Boston University.
When Ilya and his teammates find out that Sam has a little brother named Shane, they dare Ilya to date Shane and break his heart. He has two months for Shane to fall in love with him and ruin him, as well as his brother's reputation.
Ilya knows that their relationship is built on lies, so it's not surprising when it crumbles to the ground. But Ilya isn't going to give up, and he will fight tooth and nail for his relationship with Shane Hollander.

Cliff strokes his chin and thinks very deeply. “I dare you…” he starts, “to make the freshman fall in love with you within a month.”
Some people around them laugh.
Ilya’s smirk grows even wider. “And what do I get when I manage to do so? It is not that easily said and done. Takes time, you know?”
“Mm, you’re right. I’ll give you…”
“Fifty bucks,” Ilya says before Cliff is done thinking. “And a bottle of that nice vodka your dad always has.”
“Deal!” Cliff says and holds out his hand.
Ilya shakes it.

Summary
Shane was excited to start his second term, mainly because he would get to see Ilya Rozanov more, not that he would ever admit that to someone… or to himself. He also would never admit to himself that he was looking into fraternities so he could spend more time with Rozanov. Why would he do that? It made no sense. They were already roommates and talked to each other. No, Shane was looking for connections outside of his major, and what was a greater place to network than a fraternity? That was the only reason. So when he applied for the frat Rozanov was the president of, he was clueless about everything.
or Shane gets caught in the middle of a frat tradition turned into a prank and has a panic attack.

“Let me say this one more time extra clear,” he spoke softly while staring into Shane's eyes.
“I don't love you. I don't want you, at least any more than your mouth after a game.”
