Summary
Between the events of Hug and the events of Leech, Clark and Lex had a pretty traumatic couple of weeks in Smallville. Lex grapples with the concern that he keeps hurting Clark, but also with the belief that Clark isn't being honest with him. Clark grapples with wondering if it's fair to keep his secret from Lex, given how often he goes to Lex for help with meteor mutant problems he can't quite handle on his own. The author takes the liberty of pretending they know how to communicate at least a little.
