During one of Robert's shifts at his local 7-Eleven, he meets Courtney. She's fiery, angry, and clearly being used by the much older man that she's with. When he tells her that she deserves better, he doesn't think much of it until she returns a few hours later to tell him that she's finally ditched Elliot but now she has no where to go. He offers her his couch without expecting anything in return but she still insists on sleeping with him the following morning because she feels safe with him.
