He meets familiar people to whom he is completely foreign.
He has been completely removed from his power, his plans, and any sense of forward movement he had been experiencing not even last week. Even worse, he's being treated as a slightly unsettling presence.
He'll have to just cope with it, won't he?

After Amo's rescue, Tamsy makes an effort to grow closer to the members of Team Akuta, but ends up catching the eye of a certain man named Enjin. His attempts to maintain distance fail miserably after Enjin continuously finds him at the worst moments and some how says all of the right things to have Tamsy lowering his guard.
...Alternatively, just a stereotypical Tamjin fic with a sprinkle of Omegaverse and a dash of health issues.

Summary
Meng Yao dies and wakes in the body of Jin Guangyao, the first husband of Emperor Lan Xichen on the eve of his wedding to the virtuous, and presumptuous, Nie Mingjue.
The original Jin Guangyao plotted and schemed his way into an early death at the hands of Nie Mingjue, so Meng Yao decides that he will change that. He will help the couple and take the goodwill to better himself.
One problem: Lan Xichen is Meng Yao's favorite character.

Nie Mingjue had felt justified the first time it had happened, when the thick golden rings split open Jin Guangyao's pretty mouth, but even that had dulled to a simmering boil of annoyance once he realized it happened every other day. With the way Jin Guangyao had broken down in heaving sobs only days prior, Nie Mingjue wondered smugly who would get to kill Jin Guangshan first, his vengeful son or Nie Mingjue when he inevitable gathered enough strength to tie his disjointed spirit back to his body.
