Summary
Five years ago a vicious outlaw gang, ironically name the Saviors, killed Maggie Greene's childhood sweetheart and fiance, Glenn Rhee. No one involved had ever been caught, but by some power above Maggie had been granted a chance at revenge. After a chance encounter with a charming criminal, who turned out to be a member of gang, she is recruited by the Pinkertons to infiltrate the Saviors.

Summary
You don’t know him like I do, Maggie had told her when Annie tried to defend her husband after he had stormed out of a heated discussion between the two. Maggie’s words were little more than empty air, back then.
It wasn’t until much later that Annie would realize just how much truth clung to those words. How deeply rooted they were and how tangled and twisted those roots were, like two oaks planted too close— bound so tightly that every attempt to pull away only deepened the wound. Choking the life out of each other while being each other’s only source of survival. It would take a while for Annie to come to that realization, but as time went by, she could see glimpses of it bleeding through the cracks of the walls Negan had built.
Slowly, almost imperceptibly, but undeniably. Bleeding.

“Where do you think you’re goin’?”
Negan’s sigh became fog in the air. The skin of his back tensed as he turned to face her. Maggie stood at the opposite end of the hallway, looking at him, her irises catching what little light filtered in—like broken glass. Sharp enough to cut. Fractured enough to show where darkness was absent.
“Couldn’t sleep,” he said, voice wounding on its way out. Like it wasn’t sound but still a weapon. He was still on stage. Eeny, meeny, miny—fuck it.
“That ain’t an answer.”
