Katsuki is sent to another universe, where he learns some surprising news about himself.
Izuku cuts off immediately. His eyes zone in on Katsuki and they bulge out of his face, whites of his eyes bright, mouth dropping open. Aizawa sighs behind him and runs a hand down his face.
“What is this?” Izuku asks, voice low and hoarse.
“There was a quirk accident,” Aizawa says quietly. “This is a Bakugou from another universe.”

“I am,” Izuku assured him. “I mean it, I’m for real. I want you. I love you. It’s you, Kacchan, it’s always been you.”

Summary
For all his anger, Katsuki knows when to slam on the brakes. He knows when the daily pain of using his quirk tips over into something dangerous, he knows when it’s time to regroup and restrategize, and he’s (slowly, painfully) learned how to accept help.
Meanwhile, Katsuki is convinced Deku doesn’t have brakes. It’s like someone took a fucking tricycle and hooked it up to a race car engine.
It infuriates him, it rattles him, it—it scares him. Which is the last goddamn thing Katsuki wants to feel when he’s consumed by the heat of battle, but of course that’s the only time Deku actually unleashes it.
Or it was, until today.

Or: Katsuki was so one track minded in his efforts to get Izuku a super suit, that they lost touch. And when they run into each other, so much has changed. So much, in fact, that the little girl he saved from a kidnapping calls Izuku daddy.

Izuku whimpers.
Katsuki grins, wide and wicked. “Damn. Should’ve figured. You were acting like a kicked puppy every time I said anything even mildly aggressive.”
“I like that,” Izuku mumbles, face in his hands now.
Katsuki pulls his hands away from his face. Just enough to kiss him, short and warm.
“Okay, you stupid fuck. I can be mean while you blow out my hole like a birthday candle, sure.”

Izuku has one birthday wish: for Kacchan to be mean in bed.
Katsuki exceeds expectations.
