Small Bertha had only caught small glimpses of the Mainlander that had recently come to Far Harbor and, from what she'd heard through the docks, the woman seemed to be some kind of ghost. She'd slip in and out of the little town without anyone noticing, barely talked when she was here, and always had an air about her that spooked the others.
