Summary
A hypothetical chapter 7 for the Guilty Gear: Begin novel. Frederick goes on a field trip from the east coast of America to the south-west and is sad and miserable the whole way. There is a span of 6 months between chapter 6 and the epilogue of Begin where Frederick doesn't have a limiter to suppress his Gear powers. This fic aims to explore those 6 months. There is some excessive violence after chapter 01.

I've decided to keep writing after this fic catches up to where it was originally going to end with Begin's epilogue. Dunno where it'll stop now but I absolutely 100% will not write into the Crusades (just way too much lore to untangle, too big a cast). The post-Begin part of the story starts around the end of 02 - 06 into 02 - 07.

Summary
It came without warning for most. The Fires of Ibis, a tide of flame that swept through the stars. At its center was the planet ISB2262, more commonly known as Rubicon-3, and the substance known as Coral. When the Coral was first discovered on the surface of Rubicon, it led to an industrial and scientific golden age for the planet, and Coral based technology and services became the planet’s number one export. Advancements in data analysis, energy generation, and extensive genetic augmentations were just a few of the wonders that were produced by studying the Coral.
And yet, as with all things, this golden age would not last forever. In the aftermath of tragedy, Rubicon has become a warzone filled with Corporation forces and Liberation fighters, both sides yearning to push the other off of Rubicon. In the midst of the conflict, a shadow from Rubicon's past will return to fly beyond its scorched skies... On the wings of a Raven.
