Chevreuse sighed, and crashed back onto her chair. “No, not a suicide mission. Obviously not. I just need you to find her, lead her to us, and have us capture her. That's all. Nothing more, nothing less.”
“You're strong, Clorinde. Even if her, and her goons attack you, you can fend them off. I believe in you. So, please…” She begged, staring up at her with dull eyes. “...Just… help me.”
Clorinde really couldn't say no, could she?
“Fine. Fine. But… you have to promise me that, once I finish the job, you'll never ask such a thing from me again, deal?”
Chevreuse gave her a small smile, extending a hand for Clorinde to take.
“Deal.”
An exhausted Clorinde is tasked with hunting down the new leader of a gang previously thought to be dead: The Spina Di Rosula.
She could have never expected the leader everyone described to be murderous, cold, and cruel to be the friend that lead her through the darkness all those years ago.
