Story Background:
Lucy has just been recovered by the whole team after her ordeal with the ‘monster’ that was Caleb. She was taken to hospital where she is now slowly recovering and maybe finding out a few new things. It is very clear to all the team that there is something between Tim and Lucy that goes beyond partners on the job. The life Lucy thought she was building at Mid-Wilshire is about to be turned completely upside down.This does not follow exact timelines of the series, I’ve made choices based on what I liked from the episodes and storylines throughout the series and created my own rookie timeline because we all know the show doesn’t really exist with one anyway.
Get ready, buckle up because you are in for a long one… maybe one long enough to get us through the hiatus until season 8…

I watched the scene from 4X11 (written in notes) more times than I can count, and for the relationships between Lucy and Tamara, I think this is one of the best scenes that shows off just how much love and care they have for each other. Especially how much Lucy wants to care for Tamara. So, the idea came to mind to expand on this and delve into what might happen if Tamara did open up to Lucy about her life on the street, or more specifically, if Tamara crashed out after the events of the day, triggering her, and Lucy was there to help her through it.

There was a Journal, it was started from 2019.
It had a sticky note written by Tamara.Just incase - Tamara
The first chapter was written on the 10th of December 2019, it was mostly bullet points, the occasional paragraph complaining about how Lucy complained about her T.O. As the Journal progressed, it told her of the incessant looks, the protective stances and the flirty conversations. It took her a minute to realise because of the two distinct handwriting patterns, but this was Chenford’s love story. Written by the people who cared for Lucy the most.
