Lloyd frowned at his uncle's words, looking up when his fathers grip tightened. - “Son, there is only one way to get your Element back.” - Garmadon looked at him with worry. - “You have to follow after him. Without the Element of Magic the other Elements have no power and the entirety of Jago is left without its biggest defence. Your necklace does not belong in the place that Morro now calls home. I have no doubt its power will be used to bring harm to the inhabitants of this other realm.”
The boy slowly nodded, looking back at the mirror. - “I understand the importance of my task. I promise I’ll do my best.” - He squeezed his fathers hand before moving forwards, up to the mirror.

Lloyd's title of being a Protector gets put to the test when his Element gets stolen by a Wu's bitter student - Morro. In order to get it back he follows him through a portal into a strange world where he has to seek out help from his 'friends'... who all seem to despise each other.

He didn’t think anything of it because it doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t even rhyme! But now he knows it did something. It must’ve switched the Elements of Harmony!

Every day at Lumina is a good day and Lloyd is content with his life learning and having fun with his friends. It all falls apart when he realises something is different about all of his friends. Finally, he takes matters into his own hands when he realises why.

Alhaitham studied it, not letting much emotion show on his face, making Kaveh worry. The blonde awkwardly looked away before clearing his throat and slowly bringing his hands up. - “Me and you…” - He pointed a finger at his chest, then Alhaitham’s, and finally put his hands together and shook them. - “...could we be friends?” - He looked back up.
He regretted asking the moment he saw the way Alhaitham stared at him.
Is Kaveh stupid?! This is the kid he bullied! Of course Alhaitham would want nothing to do with him! He has every right to run from Kaveh. To punch him, yell at him, flip him off…
“I’m– so sorry, I don’t know why I said that!” - He waved his hands - “I should.. Go...”
Alhaitham put the notebook under his arm and hesitated before nodding. - “Okay. Let’s be friends.” - He didn’t look convinced. But he still gave Kaveh a chance.
Kaveh was given a chance.

“Listen, Will, I know you may be confused but if you would listen-” - Will grabbed a cup, jumping and catching the thing in it, pressing the glass against the ground. - “...will you listen to me if I’m like this?”
He stared for a few seconds before the floor beneath him moved, making him yell. Oh, he was sitting on the hatch.
“Are you okay?” - El’s voice came through, seeing as she couldn’t open the hatch.
“Uuhm,,” - Will stared at the bug or whatever, leaning backwards as he slowly nodded to himself. - “Yeah– yeah I was just looking for something!”
“I heard yelling.” - El pressed on.
“I– stubbed my toe?”
“...mhm.”
He didn’t hear any other questions, making him sigh in relief and now fully turn to the thing. - “What are you? And how do you know my name?!” - He whisper yelled.
“I am a Kwami, and my name is Tikki! Now please, let me explain.”

People get attacked by an unknown creature and no one is able to stop it, except for two heroes.
Will is supposedly one of those heroes.
With the help of his partner he's supposed to save everyone and make the streets of Hawkins peaceful again. But this is Will Byers. All he does is make mistakes.

They all stood in stunned silence for a few seconds, before Cole looked at them. - “What… did he mean by that? Twists and turns? Back where we began?”
“Hm…” - Lloyd looked out of the window. - “Twists and turns… twists and turns…” - He racks his brain, glaring at nothing in particular. - “Twist and…” - He suddenly sees something in the distance. - “Turns! That’s it! The palace maze!” - He points to the hedge maze outside.
Wu nodded. - “Good luck everyone. Stay safe.”

After centuries a great danger returns and now it's up to Lloyd to save the world from chaos and discord. Luckily he has his friends by his side, fighting with him to return peace to the lands.
