“That went well” says the voice at dinner, several notches too amused. Enjolras honest to god growls, his knuckles gripping a spoonful of tomato soup still in midair so tightly, they almost go white. “You know, if nothing else works you could date me” the voice goes on, unperturbed.
“You think I should tell people I’m dating a voice only I can hear in my head?” Enjolras asks. The voice, for once, says nothing. “No thanks, I don’t think I’m quite ready for the psychiatric ward” Enjolras adds, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
