Summary
After Dudley is kissed by a dementor the summer before his fifth year, Harry flees to diagon, certain his uncle will kill him if he's found. While there, he learns he has a magical guardian, Albus Dumbledore, who should have removed him when he asked for help escaping the Dursleys.
Between the knowledge that Dumbledore will send him back no matter how much he begs and the fact that a war is on the horizon that he knows he will be forced into, he needs a new guardian that won't force him back to the Dursleys or to fight. The only ways to achieve that would be to petition the Wizengamot where Dumbledore has control, or to sign a marriage contract already accepted by his family before Dumbledore became his guardian. The problem is, his fate is in the hands of none other than Draco Malfoy.

Summary
Sick of the Dursleys and resolved to missing his few friends if it means getting away from the people of the Wizarding World and their nosy whispers, Harry gets the idea to leave it all behind for a while, just a bit, just for a rest. Like a camping trip, except he’ll take enough provisions for a year or so...maybe some plants, seeds and things for a little garden. Maybe some time away from the things that weigh him down will help the constant highs and lows he’s been feeling for a while now. Just a little break.
(Or, the one where Harry says TTFN and takes himself off on an indefinite vacation and upsets a few very careful plans.)

Summary
Harry has wanted a way out of Britain for a while now, and Tom Riddle getting a body again has only made this desire stronger. Clearly Britain doesn't deserve him. 10-year old Harry knows the rules of the Dursley house, and follows them to the best of his ability. Until one day, a strange man comes and tells him it's okay to break these rules. He shows him a new world, with new rules, then teaches Harry how to break those rules and create his own rules. Or, what if Severus had been the one to find Harry's living conditions and they reminded him just a little too much of his own childhood?
Harry falls into the world of Slytherin politics, and relearns what he thought life was like.
