“Why, worried a lady like you won’t be able to keep up with a pirate like me?”
“Oh, so now you call yourself a pirate.” Ningguang placed an inquisitive finger on her chin. “Funny, last month I distinctly remember how you assured the Qixing that your smuggling was ‘to keep sailors in their jobs’ and to ‘enact justice’.”
Beidou crossed her legs with gusto. “Well, last month is last month. Maybe I’m a changed woman.” She gestured with the bottle.
Ningguang snorted delicately. “You look exactly the same as last I saw you.”

“Is it romance-inducing to ride a double bicycle?” Sasuke asks. Sakura would like to answer, but all of her brain power is being used to ignore Naruto’s knee brushing against her’s under the table.
Naruto taps his pencil against his lips. “Yeah. ‘Cus, their bodies would be pressed together, right?”
“That’s not a double bicycle though.” Sakura points out. “That’s just two people on a bike.”
“So what’s it matter?”
Sakura pauses. “Well, a tandem bike has two seats and two sets of pedals…”
“So no one would be pressed together at all.” Sasuke finishes.
