Maybe all those other Bucks are a lie. Maybe he’s been Buck 1.0 all along, and he’s just been delusional. He’s good at sex; he’s not good at relationships. He hadn’t really liked himself very much when he’d been sleeping around, but to be honest, he doesn’t like himself very much now.
Maybe he just needs to stay in his lane, stick to what he’s good at. Casual relationships, casual sex, no strings attached. Definitely nothing exclusive, because Buck knows himself. He knows he’ll do it again, he’ll fall for someone who will be freaked out by how invested he is.

Summary
Alec has spent most of his life hiding.
That's just the way things have always been. From a young age he knew he had to hide to keep himself safe, because there were people out there who would hurt him just for being born the way he was. To keep his secret, Alec has done his best to hide away the parts of himself he can't risk letting anyone see, only letting that part of himself out in the late night hours when no one's around and he can take to the skies. It's the only place he's ever felt free.
All that changes one night when Alec happens to misjudge a storm and finds himself crash landing on Magnus Bane's rooftop.
