Summary
Normally Percy loved Salem. It was a quiet town near Boston and along the Atlantic coast, and due to its unfortunate history, it attracted all kinds of strange people, allowing Percy’s oddities and nocturnal habits to seem normal. It had everything Percy needed after his mother’s untimely death and his move from NYC.
Unfortunately, during the month of October, the normally quaint town turned into a tourist hellscape. The wealthier citizens would leave during the month of October, but since both of Percy’s jobs were in hospitality, he kind of needed to work during the peak tourism season.

Or Percy is a dhampire, just trying to get by as a waiter and tour guide in Salem, MA, when a strange tourist named Apollo shows up in his life, and suddenly Witch City is once again the center of hysteria and murder.

Summary
Percy's ex finds out about the greek gods existing at the same time as everyone else in the world. This causes him to reach back out to Percy. Apollo doesn't like this at all.

Sebastian thought of Percy Jackson a lot, and he always hoped he would see him again, if only to apologize.
This wasn’t what he pictured though. He was never one to watch the news or even keep up with it. He got all his news from twitter (he’s aware that isn’t great, ok). So it was a big shock when he logged onto twitter Sunday night to find Percy’s face plastered all over his feed along with trending tags like #greekgods, #hellenism, #zeus, etc.
So, apparently the Greek gods were real, and Percy was a demigod. Sebastian was less surprised by the second part than he was the first. Percy certainly seemed pretty godly to him.

Or a story where the mortals Percy interacted with find out he’s a demigod. His old bullies are scared, his somewhat-could-have-been friends are impressed, and his family are trying to keep their privacy from the press.
