The one he swore to you upon first meeting each other that he had no room for; and yet here he was, showing it...Giving it, to you out of all people.
"...*Please*, love." His voice cracked with meaning, and your awestruck trance faded slightly at his broken tone. This time, it didn't feel like just a pet name. You felt the second instinct you had kept on such a tight leash, for so long, stir and crawl as you glanced down at his lips... And, finally, take over as you leaned forward to catch them again.

"Ahh," Volt breathes, rocking into you again, "that's what you want, is it? You wish Eddie was here too?"
or, you and Volt kill some time while Eddie's out. But, of course, you both miss him.

Chapter 2 edit: ...So. I'm a little late, but in my defense I thought this was only one chapter and done when I added it to my bookmarks-- AND Now I FIND THIS??? Help me. I can't. I could never guess, I'd sink into the deepest pits of hell the moment that blindfold was on me.
Wish I was in a position to ceremoniously offer a fic back for chapter 3, but my writing game hasn't been the best lately-- I'll just quietly add to the pleading pile for now 🙏

Summary
Dorian doesn’t do the talking mainly, but he finds himself talking more. Just because you listen, you don’t talk or give much input, and he knows the Dorian guarding the laundry room feels pity for your soul. After all, you’re always getting dragged into Harper and Dirk’s mess. At some point, it’s just better to separate the two, not that he’d say anything on the matter. But he’s seen the jealous quarrels of hate and love; this feels like one of them.
Regardless, he keeps his comments to himself. No reason to keep these thoughts if no one’s around to listen, and he doesn’t see a reason to say them aloud.
Then he sees you nearly dropping a mug with as much grace as a baby deer trying to walk. He decides that, yeah, you’re a strange individual, and not one anyone knows much of.
or, the objects want to unravel you and see who you are underneath all the layers and secrets you’ve hidden under.

The tone is arresting in how soft it is. How wide and pleading their eyes are as they look up at him. They’re always running this way and that around the house, fixing problems, solving issues. It’s one of the things Eddie -and even Volt- first noticed about them. Always wanting to help.

Summary
