Summary
Hermione Granger pleaded to spare the life of her former school bully, but the wizengamot sentenced Draco and Lucius Malfoy to life in Azkaban prison.
Few visitors braved the journey to the island. Hermione was certain Narcissa Malfoy had been among them. The ferry operated once a month, then once every six months. Eventually, the magical world had seen too much hurt and wanted to move on.
So they sealed the prison off with the remaining inmates inside.
In the eight years that followed the Malfoy trail, Hermione didn't go one day without thinking of the whimpering boy or the desperate goodbyes he exchanged with his mother.
Malfoy was vile. Undoubtedly.
He was cowardly and he covered it up by lashing out with cruelty, yet she pitied him. If only Hermione had known that she was to join him after violating the statute of secrecy.
The prison was going to take one more resident.
…
A white blonde strand hung over his split brow. Crimson dripped down his broad chest which heaved with exertion. This Malfoy was so unlike the sniffling, gangly boy who had plagued her nightmares. He looked like he belonged here.

Summary
She stirred, her golden-brown eyes finally focusing on him with a fragile clarity that sent a jolt through his chest. She looked at him like he was a stranger.
“Who are you?” she asked, voice hesitant.
The words struck him like a hex.
She doesn’t remember me.
Relief at her waking vanished beneath the weight of that realisation, leaving something hollow in its place — something far more dangerous than grief.
When a late-night Patronus interrupts the chaos of the Auror Office, Draco Malfoy doesn’t hesitate. Hermione Granger’s been attacked—and while she survives, the aftermath is far from clean. Her memories are gone. Not the magic, not the brilliance—but every shared glance, every scar, every sharp-edged truth between them.
Draco is assigned to keep her safe. It's meant to be temporary. Professional. Detached.
But memory is a fickle thing, and the threat hunting her is more deeply embedded than anyone at the Ministry dares admit. As secrets rise and loyalties fray, Draco must protect the one person who once knew him too well—and now doesn’t know him at all.

Summary
It has been five years since the Second Wizarding War. The wizarding population has been in decline for many years, with fewer births of magical children and the many lives lost during the war. Because of this, the Ministry of Magic decides to enact a controversial law that will affect unmarried witches and wizards by using ancient magic to create matches that will produce strong magical children.
The law affects any unmarried witch or wizard between the ages of 20 and 35, and matches couples based on magical compatibility. Hermione and Draco were always academic rivals, and it seems they’re each other’s perfect match.
Hermione is still dealing with demons from her past, is being hunted by a pack of werewolves, and hyper-focused on trying to get out of the marriage without any more added baggage. Draco sees the match as an opportunity to earn her forgiveness and act on long-buried feelings he never thought he'd get the opportunity to act on.***UNDERGOING EDITS, WILL BE UPDATED CHAPTER BY CHAPTER SOON*** 12/04/2025
