Summary
When Percy comes down with a cold, he dramatically tells Annabeth that he's 'dying' over an Iris Message. Summary
“Beckendorf!” Tyson greets happily, with a hug that crushes the air out of the demigod’s lungs. “Sorry we’re late.”
“It’s alright, I could’ve used the break anyway.” Beckendorf wheezes as air flows back into his lungs, before drawing Percy into a hug.
In the past few years, he and Beckendorf have grown closer. On Percy’s side, it’s partly out of gratitude that Beckendorf was there for Tyson when Percy wasn’t, and partly because Beckendorf had done the same for him. He hadn’t stood with camp when they isolated him when he was claimed, or when Tyson was claimed. That loyalty and kindness meant a lot to Percy.
“Happy belated birthday, Percy.”
“Thanks,” Percy responds, looking between Beckendorf and Tyson. Tyson is doing that thing where he’s almost bouncing on his toes, eagerly awaiting something. There’s a small twitch in Beckendorf’s lips that tells Percy that something’s up. “What’s going on?”
“We made you a gift.” Tyson says.

It looks nothing like the ones Superman used to change in, and has no time traveling capabilities that Frank can tell. The only notable thing about this phone booth is the demigod inside it. Hours ago Percy Jackson had single handedly fought an army of ghosts, securing a win by bringing down a massive glacier. And that probably wasn’t even the most impressive thing Frank had seen him do in the short time they’d known each other.
Currently he’s engaged in an argument about…Sexism? London? Frank isn’t sure.
“Tell her there will be traditional post battle cheeseburgers.” Percy says, scowling. “That will surely sweeten the pot. Please. Thank you. Goodbye.”
