After her gruesome defeat in Greed, V2 finds herself in a strange new place with what seems to be an alternate version of her predecessor. Undoubtedly pissed by her circumstances, she doesn't want anything to do with this mocking image of the machine that killed her.
On the other hand, Mirage finds this stranger a refreshing sight in her desolate town. Especially considering they seem to be butt ass naked, while also clueless on how they got here in the first place. And Mirage is not one to pass up on some entertainment in her idle and meaningless life.
