    Cruise has been missing for five years. This is fairly normal. The Decepticon tends to come and go as he so chooses, but five years is a lot, even for him. The scout is back, though, and is ready to shake up the command structure and, generally speaking, be an unholy problem.

    Being a problem is what he's good at, at least. And, well, he's pretty good at interfacing.
